Sheila, now known as Laney, was residing at a kill shelter down in texas. Before she was saved by our community, she was living in a horrible situation.She barely had enough food to keep her stomach full.
Thanks to our Animal Rescue Tulsa, the lady was able to receive transport up to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and there she was able to meet her forever family. After a short trip from Texas to Oklahoma, she was able to be rescued. Texas is one of the worst kill states in the country, and Lainey likely would not have survived if she had stayed there any longer. We are so excited to tell you that the lady has survived the journey and made it to her forever family. It only took a very short period of time for her to find her forever family once she arrived in Tulsa, oklahoma.
By bringing dogs into our Animal Rescue Tulsa, we know that we are changing their lives for the better just like a lady’s life was changed. Animal Rescue Tulsa | Stormy’s Story
We are so honored to be working with the best Animal Rescue Tulsa, and because of this we have received so many success stories of ways that practices have impacted the lives of dogs and families in our community. For example, we would like to share Stormy’s story with you. Stormy was a dog that was severely mistreated in her youth. she would have someone beat her regularly, and she was very miserable in her previous life. We don’t know how she ended up becoming a stray, but thankfully she did make her way to our loving care. In our care, she was able to find a couple of foster homes while she waited for her forever family to arrive. As she waited, she slowly healed from the trauma that she endured as a young puppy.
At our Animal Rescue Tulsa, stormy was able to recover and become a normal dog again. She enjoyed running around with her new Foster family and making lots of memories. She even learned some tricks along the way. Stormy is an incredibly intelligent dog, however, she was so traumatized by the severe abuse that she endured as a puppy that she had a hard time learning. Thankfully, and she is healed, she has been able to recover from that abuse and live her life to the fullest.
With the help of our Animal Rescue Tulsa, Stormy is now her final adopted home. She has been living with her foster family that she started out with for over 3 years now, and she is absolutely thriving. She loves getting to spend her life with her forever, secure family. Her forever family loves her so much, and we are so grateful for the part that we got to play in the story. Because of your generosity and donations, you are able to play a part in the story of so many dogs just like stormy. if it weren’t for you, dogs like stormy would not be able to find help and shelter when needed. We really appreciate all of your generosity and helping dogs just like her.
